Add Skybell to Customer's Alarm.com account

Instructions to Add a SkyBell Doorbell Camera to Alarm.com account

 

1. Prepare the SkyBell Doorbell Camera

Ensure the camera is in Access Point (AP) mode.

  • The LED should be blinking red and green.

  • If not, press and hold the button until the LED starts alternating red and green.

2. Log into the Customer App

  • Open the app and tap the Menu (☰) icon.

  • Select Doorbell Camera.

  • Tap the Settings (⚙️) icon.

  • Tap Add Camera.

Note:
If the "Add Camera" option is missing, the customer may have reached the maximum number of video devices allowed by their service package. Verify and update their service plan if necessary to allow for additional cameras.

3. Complete the Installation

  • Follow the installation wizard to add the new SkyBell Doorbell Camera.

  • Important: Double-check that the wireless network credentials are entered correctly during setup.
