TruVision - Setup TVRMobile app

Step 1: Download and Install TVRMobile

  1. Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

  2. Search for TVRMobile.

  3. Download and install the app on your mobile device.

Step 2: Add Your NVR to the App

  1. Open the TVRMobile app.

  2. Tap the Menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Devices to open Device Management.

  4. Tap the “+” icon to add a new device.

  5. Choose Manual Add.

  6. Enter a Device Name (Alias)

    • This can be any name you choose (up to 16 letters/numbers).

  7. Select a Register Mode:

    • ezDDNS – If your NVR is registered with ezDDNS, enter the server address and device domain name.

    • IP / Domain – Manually enter the NVR’s IP address or domain name.

  8. Enter the Username and Password for your NVR.

  9. Tap Save / Confirm to finish.

Step 3: Add Device by QR Code (Optional)

  1. In the Devices screen, tap the “+” icon.

  2. Select Scan QR Code.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code from your NVR.

  4. Confirm the details once the scan is complete.

Step 4: Network Requirements (If Needed)

To ensure proper connection:

  • Make sure your NVR is connected to the internet (wired Ethernet is recommended).

  • If using Wi-Fi (if supported), ensure the NVR is on the same network as your mobile device.

  • If using a static IP, confirm it is correctly assigned to the NVR.

  • If using DDNS, verify the hostname is correctly linked to the NVR.

  • If using port forwarding, confirm the following ports are open and forwarded to the NVR:

    • 80 (HTTP)

    • 8000 (Server)

    • 554 (RTSP)
