To configure notifications using the Alarm.com app:

1. Log in to the Alarm.com app. 
2. Tap .  
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Tap .
5. If you are editing an existing rule, tap the notification to edit; if you are creating a new one, tap the create icon  and select the notification type (e.g., Alarm, Arming Event, Sensor Activity, System Event, Video Callout).
6. Enter a name, configure the settings (and any filtering options if available).
7. Under Recipients, tap Add, select contacts from the Address Book (or Add Contact), then tap Close.
8. Verify all recipients are correct.
9. Tap Save.
