Here are a few quick checks you can try to restore the video on your monitor:

  1. Check the video input source
Make sure the monitor is set to the correct input (HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort, etc.). Sometimes it switches to the wrong input.
  2. Verify the cable connections
Confirm the video cable is firmly connected at both ends — the monitor and the recorder (or computer). If possible, unplug and plug it back in.
  3. Power cycle the monitor and recorder
    • Turn off the monitor, wait 10–15 seconds, and turn it back on.
    • If you have access to the NVR/DVR or computer, restart it as well.
  4. Try a different cable or port
If you have an extra HDMI/DisplayPort/VGA cable, try swapping it.
You can also plug into another port if one is available.

If you try these steps and the video still doesn’t appear, please let me know and we can schedule a technician to assist further.
