Note: There is no limit to the number of Alarm.com Temperature Sensors that can generate Temperature Alert notifications. If any PG9905 Wireless PowerG Temperature Detectors are enrolled on your account, only the first two can be selected when creating this notification.

To create a Temperature Alert notification using the Customer app: 

1. Log in to the Customer app.
2. Tap .
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Tap .
5. Tap .
6. Tap to expand Use A Template.
7. Tap Temperature Alert.
8. Enter the name of the new notification.
9. In When the device detects a temperature, tap to select the temperature thresholds and use the dropdown menus to specify the high and low temperatures required to generate the alert.
10. In For the selected devices, tap to select the thermostats and/or temperature sensors to be notified about.
11. In Recipients, tap Add to add notification recipients.
12. Tap to select the desired recipients from the Address Book, or add an unlisted recipient by tapping Add Contact.
13. Tap Close.
14. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
15. Tap Save.

To create a Temperature Alert notification using the Customer website:

1. Log in to the Customer website.
2. Click Notifications.
3. Click New Notification.
4. Click Temperature.
5. Click Temperature Alert.
6. Enter the name of the new notification.
7. In When the device detects a temperature, click to select the temperature thresholds and use the dropdown menus to specify the high and low temperatures required to generate the alert.
8. In For the selected devices, click to select the thermostats and/or temperature sensors to be notified about.
9. In Recipients, click Add to add notification recipients.
10. Click to select the desired recipients from the Address Book, or add an unlisted recipient by clicking New. 
11. Click Close.
12. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
13. Click Save.
